Obama Shoes and a Hat

Hey Everyone!!!

Its Winter up in here, and its cooooooold! brrrrrrrrrr
But I got new shoes, there from the brand called Bama, but when looking at the logo it totally reads Obama, so I got me some Obama shoes. They are super comfy and one pair is also quite warm so great for this Bremen Weather :)



One pair is a ballet flat, so good for wearing with skirts, which is currently my new obsession skirts :) I have no clue where that came from but I just love wearing them, even though it is getting to cold and my tights just aren't warm enough.



However, not only does it snow in this nice cold weather, it also makes it possible for me to wear hats :)! And after years of hating hats, because I just have too much hair and they look funny, I have learned to embrace my hair, and the wonderfulness of wearing warming, and stylish hats :)! I got a new one and it is awesome!!! Purple with a little bow

Oh and last but not least, I have finally found my favorite perfume. It smells great, and I love it!!! It is Vera Wang's Rock Princess and its awesome. It smells a little of Vanilla, and a little sweet-so it suits me! But that is perty much it!!!

Oh yeah and I went to Cologne, a Blog post shall follow on that asap!

Some things never change

A lot has been changing around me lately, including myself. I am incredibly busy with school, hanging out with friends, work and trying to find time for myself. I am in my last semester of classes for my masters program and I don't have a clue were this last month has gone...I mean really I feel like students just arrived on campus asking me where stuff is and now I have already made really new close friends were did the time go?
Finally though this weekend I managed to go visit gran, which I haven't done since sometime in August and to my relief little to nothing has changed. Sure grandpa is no longer here which is sad, and the keyboard he used to play on is also no longer in the corner in the living room but the rest it seems the same. The couches are as they were, the guest room is still my room, and my uncle comes to visit every day. Most importantly grannys routine has not changed. She gets up at the same time, breakfast, start cooking lunch and watching some tv, lunch at noon then tv or reading then dinner...giving me the chance to rest or chat with her. It is nice that in the hastle of everything else I can count on grandmas routine and the quiet of this area to let me refresh some.

Worst Blogger Ever

So I am probably the worst blogger in blogging history...the last time I wrote was right before my birthday...and that was in March. Since then my semester has ended, I had summer break and now my semester started again, and alas I am back into writing paper reading articles doing research etc.
On the bright side I got this great roomy in my apartment and we get along great. I cook for her sometimes and sometimes she cooks for me, we go out together and she encourages me to study and do my homework and not procrastinate, which only works sometimes as I am still a procrastinator ;) Just take this blog...I need to be writing a summary but instead i am writing a blog without much information in it.
I am in love with Vera Wang's Rock Princess perfume...that is my newest news. It smells so good and its an "adult" smell not a sweet fruity smell that I generally go for...sooooo good.
Mmmh What else? I don't really know I think I will start blogging more often, if I don't and you miss reading my updates let me know

Dentist and Haul!

I had to go to the Dentist today, oh what fun! Not really but it was okay. Basically my teeth are fine and I need to come back in 6 months! Yay for good teeth hygiene. Overall I really like the ladies who were there, even if as usual I got the response "Oh, I was expecting a boy!" Really, well on of the hygienists was smart enough to know that my name is with a 'que' not a 'c' or 'k' hahaha
They also asked me loads of question about the U.S. that was kinda fun. Def have a good Dentist.

So on to my mini-haul! I went into Vegesack to get my friend her birthday gift. I bought a little Nici Teddy Bear key chain! Hope she likes it, but I know she will as she asked for it lol.
I then proceeded to go to Rossmann where I bought facewash and stuffs, cuz I was breaking out and I think it is because I didn't remove my make-up right (oops). Anyways I got this brand AOK, they have a line for skin over 20. I figured I should try, I saw good reviews on youtube. As I am not yet old enough for some brands, but too old for teeny facewash I figured I'd try it. Hope it works!!!!! I am pretty stoked to try it.
I also went and bought some post-cards! Not telling for whom though :D! But I will start writing some soon. It is so very necessary. I've been slacking on my post-ness. and I do love opening the mailbox and having something in it!!

Mmmh...what else?? I have been organizing my room, and it is coming along, I think when I am all done I will take pictures and post them! Should be fun.

Oh yeah, and I have been teaching my roommate Blake all about Dr. Gregory House. I think it is turning into an obsession. Cuz he definitely asked me to watch House with him over dinner. Muhahahha I may have created a monster, oh what fun :D!

Okay! So it has been a while!

So here I am, it is the middle of March! The semester is almost halfway over, where has the time gone????????? I feel like it just started and I am already giving my first presentation this week, and then another one next week. CRAZY!!! Oh well!
Yesterday I went to Hamburg with my roomy, where we spend all day in a cafe to study. This was surprisingly successful and I got a lot done! I was so proud of myself. I just finished my notecards for the presentation I have tonight! I am really excited, and I want this authors book! Maybe I'll write my paper for this semester on it instead of on James Joyce as I had planned, we'll see! I have so much work to do this semester, but at the same time I feel like I have not so much to do! How does that work?? So confusing!
It be almost my birfday that is fun :D! I am going to make potato salad for my friends!! Then on Sunday after I am going to Hamburg to visit my aunt. So fun weeks ahead.

SNOW and CHRISTMAS

So y'all guess I've been slacking on posting on my blog. Sorry! I'll try to do better in the New Year. Well the semester is over...sort of...I do still have to write two papers but its not that big of a deal, I've researched both topics, and am slowly working on them...slowly. I've made it to Hamburg were I will be spending Christmas (which in German terms is tomorrow) :D...and there is SNOW lots and lots of SNOW. There also is my uncle lying on the couch snoring...haha. So what's new? Not much really. I finally send the package to my family for Christmas, guess it'll get there late oops. But my package isn't here yet either, sad panda. Mmmh....this morning I went to get a Turkey and two goose legs, for the Christmas feast, and then I proceeded to get some Milk and Yogurt, and then surprise surprise I actually worked on some homework. After about two hours of that I needed a break and started watching youtube videos. I am addicted to two peoples channels, and now I think I found a third...crazy. Lets see, what else? For New Years I will go to my grandparents, and I think I'm starting to get pretty excited :D...I haven't been there since I went to go vote. Terrible ain't it? Oh well it happens. Oh and by the way I have my new shoes :D....yay for Tennis shoes and boots, well sorta, they go up to my ankles does that count as boots?? I don't really know, but they are hella comfy!!! Yay fun. Mmh...other than that yay snow, yay Christmas...although I do miss my fam, my mommy and my daddy, and my sissy and of course my puppy, but I think Christmas here will be good with the mini-Christmas tree and the stary tablecloth :D. Okay, well that's all. Laters.

Dear All :D

So today was mega long, I went to a second hand store with Ashley, and I swear we spend like 3 hours in one and the same store, idk how ppl. do it but apparently they do. Then we went to another second hand store which was not so successful and guess what we did after that yeah a third second hand store, but that one was again a good one :D...Ashley found loads of great clothes for her petite lil figure. I wasn't looking for clothes I was conserving my money, clothes I think I have enough, well mostly lol. I did however buy a sleeping mask, it is hello kitty and super cute I think I should take a pic and post..yeah I think I will

hopefully it will work and I will finally get some more restful sleep!! Then I can actually get up on a good schedule and be productive...productivity is key!!
However, I finally have a job for January, yay job, yay money, yay survival :D
I also just ordered a bathing suit, i was going to buy one with a cute skirt, but decided once i'm in the water it won't matter, so therefore I got one and will take my bathrobe or a huge towel with me until I get into the pool.


this is what it looks like, without the extra fabric thingy she is holding, cute eh?? and only 8.90 it was deal I couldn't pass up, I mean really poor college student hereI also got this shirt, it is super cute, I figured since I was going to spend 50 euros, spending around 20 for two items was okay...since shipping costs are a lil expensive but not too bad!!!!
Today, I also managed to finally do my dishes, that was necessary, for some reason I hate doing dished idk why, I don't mind drying them and putting them away but I hate doing dirty dishes, oh well, they are done finally :D!!!!
Sadly, I missed dance today though, that was no fun...but I got back too late from my shopping spree with Ashley, but since the day was a blast I think I'll allow it :D!!!!
And, and, and the last two days I got to talk to my Daddy, my Mommy, and my Sister which is great because I miss them. A LOT!!!! Mmh...what else is there???
My roommate moved out, so I guess she is no longer my roommate, and now I live alone which is nice. I like it, even though it takes away my excuse for being lazy, cuz usually it was because she was in the shower so no point in getting up, guess that one no longer works...oh well!
Okay, well I still have some stuff to do, before bed and such. Hope everyone is well.
