An Uncomfortable Night and the trip home

So there I am lying on a couch trying to sleep! Sleep did not wanna come, partially cuz the couch is uncomfortable and partially cuz I was not a fan of the train ride home. And then at midnight the shades go up automatically why? Who knows, cuz the stupid timer is broken i suppose, oh well...
The train ride home was an epic fail! On the train from Braunschweig-Hannover HBF, I sat near two little kids no older than 5...momma I want this...momma I want this...I have to pee...I'm hungry...and then I'm happy I finally get to go out the train and into another...but low and behold a bunch of high school kids join me, I believe they may have been 8th graders....but if that wasn't enough a bunch of 6th graders joined about to stations down the road...so I had an hour of sixth grade crap...because they actually sat next to me SUCK!!! How annoying they are...I hate class trips and kids who cannot sit still but bounce around, hit each other etc. etc. I wonder how much people hated me when I took the train daily...I can only guess. Finally arrive at Bremen HBF...that was exciting...except I noticed my suitcase broke again...well sort of...the screws that hold the pully thing to the suitcase broke off, fail!! And then the train to Bremen Vegesack gets cancelled, really?? I have to wait there an hour. But on a happy note, I met some friends and I didn't have to hang around Bremen HBF by myself for an hour, that was a good thing :)
Well that's all the news for now

Salzgitter and Voting!

Well here I sit at my grandparents house, full with some yummy leftovers that we just had for Lunch! After cleaning the dining room and putting it back into its previous state of orderliness I am now getting ready to do some homework, without the distraction of a TV or Internet fast enough to watch True Blood...not that I'm addicted or anything :)!!!
Tomorrow I have to go and vote for the German political cabinet or whatever it is that they have here, I'm not quite sure what it is...but research is on the way! Grandpa already told me who is the best party to vote for and that I should vote for them...but in the end I will do what I want (what is it again that I want?)
Other than that, my suitcase broke while I was at the Bremer Hbf, and my uncle tried to semi-fix it, this only worked part of the way...after considering and reconsidering buying a new one and getting told by momma and gran that it is a bad idea I messed with the suitcase determined to make the stupid button push out both prongs so that the pully thing stays put. With a little pressure one the suitcase voila it works every friggin time....why could it not have been that easy from the first minute?? OH well it works now!!!!!
Well off to do something productive!

My time so far

Okay so a lot has been going on, and I as usual have little time, or maybe I just don't use my time wisely hence there have been no blog updates oops. I have started classes and so far have attended my graduate seminar on literary theory twice, it promises to be rather interesting I'm excited ;). Then I have had French class twice a week for the last two weeks, I like my teacher a lot and hope that this time around I can make French work and actually learn this language that I have been wanting to learn for so long. I also have been to Bremen City, and it is really pretty. I took the necessary pictures. With the Bremer Stadtmusikanten etc. Nice dorky American tourists.
Ashley went with me, she's also an IH major from Mass. so yeah...
Tonight I went to Ashley's house and we made some yummy noodles, yay for noodles and free food which is very important when you are a poor college student.
I also found out that all of the second year IH majors have stipends, and as of this year, the wonderful year I got into Jacobs stipends got cut, so none of the new IH majors got a stipend :( sad. But it's okay just another challenge for my life or my growing up process I suppose. I mean really I need to grow up some time right?? Or should I just strike...mmmh conundrum!!
Seriously though I have been applying for jobs and I am still hopeful even though that is hard after so many rejections, I shall keep my hope. Haha as Obama said Yes I can so there we go I can the end!!!!
Tomorrow I am going into Bremen city again, Ashley wants bedding that is soft and ultra warm like mine so we are going to Karstadt cuz they have some that she likes. And at some point this weekend I will go see my cousin I hope, as she is in Bremen as well.
Well that is all the new stuffs for now.

Two Weeks are almost up

After spending almost two weeks in Bremen-Vegesack and at JUB I must say I am impressed...I have had two of my classes which are great...met loads of people during O-Week and got myself a shoty bike. Overall I am really exhausted now but glad that I made the decision to come here. I miss everyone but it is okay I shall come and visit soon...as long as I get a job ;)
